What's a writer to do?

All I want to do is write comics. Is that so much?

Not that I don't love doing freelance work for guys here and rpg companies, but dammit, I want to write comics, I want to write something that will be seen by a huge amount of people, that I can be proud of (Not that I'm not proud of my work here but... you know what I mean).

But every comic website I go to says flat out: "we do not accept writing submissions."

So I ask you dear friends, what's a writer to do?

I wanna submit to companies but its not easy getting your foot in the door. Perhaps you could work on any of your own creations and try to publish them yourself. It's what I'm working on myself.

I don't have any money to do something like that. I can barely make it from month to month.

In any case, I did find a comics company that is accepting submissions; Time Bomb comics. (Link: [link] ). Once I get a script written up I will send it to them. I think I have a good shot because they're a British company and Brits seem to really dig my work.
